Outreach Event: Materials Mixer with Undergrads

The MSA is joining forces with undergraduate students to put on an outreach-focused poster session for UCSB undergrads who are interested in learning about research in the Materials Department. If you or your group is open to having undergraduate involvement or simply sharing your work with students, please sign up for a poster (we recommend making it easy on yourselves and recycling your visit weekend poster). The poster session is only one hour long at the end of the day and will feature free food!

When: Monday, May 16 from 5-6pm

Where: Elings Hall Bamboo Garden

Why: This is a great outreach opportunity with a low energy level required for participation. Join us for an informal event where you can share some of your hard-earned knowledge about how to get to grad school and how to thrive when you get here. This is also a fantastic way to make a connection and potentially get an undergrad researcher for your own work!
